Verse: Snowflakes

Can you hold one of these snowflakes?
when your hands thirst for warmth. 
Can you hold me?
For I am one of these snowflakes
falling into an unknown world. 
Can you hold me?
Though I am not a flower,
that blooms in the heat of July. 
But if you hold me...
I will melt. 
I will melt in your warmth and merge
into all that you are.
